Fashion is one of the top industries with exceptional marketing capabilities and definitely a great way to advertise products. I have worked with several models in the past; however, I  believe any person can truly model like a professional. As a photographer behind a camera, it takes a lot of patience and creativity to be able to direct modeling positions and postures on the spot just to fulfill your vision. More specifically challenging for those self-conscious in front of a camera.  At the same time, any amateur model will likely build a way to develop confidence and being comfortable in their own skin as long as direction is made after every shot. That's the overall desire that strikes me--to successfully do something you never thought you'd be capable of. Forget about the flaws, the imperfections, and the body image concerns, because all those things should no longer matter.
